Kripacharya was an ideal teacher who remained steadfast in his commitment to duty and righteousness in all the turmoil around him. When I’m playing him, I think about discipline, about the idea of duty beyond the self. He moves with a clear purpose, never acting on impulse, but rather with thought and structure. As an actor that required me to slow down and really understand his mindset and exploring that restraint and discipline has been a really enriching experience for me.”
