Dipping TRPs have often led makers of Bigg Boss to resort to different tactics to gain the attention of the viewers. One of them is by bringing boyfriends, husbands or even exes of some of the contestants. Here's looking at wild cards who were brought in to spice up the game and boost numbers.

While Rakhi was hailed as the entertainer of Bigg Boss 14, there was a lot of curiosity around her marriage with Ritesh. The next season gave the makers an opportunity to bring Rakhi with her mysterious husband Ritesh. It certainly got the interest of the contestants and the viewers.

Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty first met in Bigg Boss OTT and fell in love. While the actress joined Bigg Boss 15 soon after, Raqesh did not. Later, he entered the house with Neha Bhasin. This made Shamita extremely happy. Their romantic moments made fans go gaga.

In Bigg Boss 13 where Rashami Desai was hailed as a strong contender, makers roped in Arhaan Khan, her boyfriend back then. While she was elated to have him on the show, there were several explosive revelations made by Salman Khan about Arhaan's previous marriage and child which eventually led Rashami to part ways with him. The drama made for great entertainment and certainly brought some spice to the game.

The same season saw Vishal Aditya Singh's ex-girlfriend Madhurima Tuli enter the house with Arhaan. Her equation with Vishal grabbed eyeballs. Their conversations and fights became quite talked about. Later, Madhurima was evicted by Bigg Boss for hitting Vishal Aditya Singh with a frying pan. Her eviction caused a stir and made headlines.

Even though the two had parted ways after several years of being in a relationship and married, they decided to take part in Bigg Boss 6. In the house, Delnaaz was quite firm with Rajeev when it came to talking about their relationship. Rajeev's flirtations with Aashka Goradia and trying to hug Urvashi Dholakia also made headlines.

Sneha Wagh, who got divorced from actor Avishkar Darwhekar in 2007, entered the Marathi Bigg Boss house where she met her ex-husband after 14 years. Talking about her entry as a wildcard, she told TOI, "I never expected to meet him again like this and live with him again! I didn't want my personal life to become a joke so I kept quiet most of the time even though he kept saying things."

Dimpy entered Bigg Boss 8 as a wild card entry. The house already had Rahul Mahajan as a contestant. The couple, who were divorced, caught the eyeballs for staying under one roof.
