Anuj Sachdeva shares New Year post amid ongoing assault case, prays for kindness towards animals

Television actor Anuj Sachdeva welcomed the New Year with a powerful message. He shared a video of himself with a dog. He urged kindness toward animals and justice for those who protect them. The post comes after a deeply traumatic incident that shook him in December 2025.

Anuj Sachdeva’s New Year message reflects hope and pain

Sachdeva took to Instagram to share a short clip of himself with a dog. It marked the arrival of the New Year with a heartfelt wish. He captioned the video, “May 2026 be kind towards these animals. One thing for sure… ‘A saviour stands taller than the one who harms.’”



The post resonated with many. Especially because it came at a time when the actor is still fighting for justice after a violent assault. The video carried calm energy but the message hinted at resilience and a refusal to stay silent.

Actor continues to demand justice after alleged assault in December 2025

For the uninitiated, December 2025 left Anuj with a traumatic experience. On December 14, the ‘Chhanchhan’ actor revealed that he was allegedly assaulted. It was by a neighbour in his society in Goregaon, Mumbai. The incident began over a dispute regarding parking. Anuj said that the attacker hit him with a rod and also tried to hit his dog.

Days later, the actor shared disturbing images of his injuries on social media. Along with the photos, he wrote, “The injuries I sustained on the night of the assault. Apart from that, the mental trauma have gone through every night thinking how unsafe is Mumbai today.”

He further expressed his frustration, adding, “The culprit is roaming around scott-free. ABSOLUTELY DISHEARTENED by how the law of the land functions. This is a MIGHTY FAILURE of our system.”



Anuj has already filed an FIR and has also provided evidence. Despite this, he has repeatedly mentioned that no one has been arrested yet. In another Instagram story, he questioned the system, writing, “ARE WE EVEN SAFE IN MUMBAI? NO ARREST TILL DATE. DAY 17 OF ASSAULT CASE.”

It has been over 18 days since the incident. The actor continues to remind everyone that justice has not yet been served.

Anuj also shared a video from the night of December 14. The video shows the alleged attacker behaving aggressively and using offensive language. Anuj wrote, “I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying in the society group regarding his car, which was parked at the wrong place in the society parking. Harmony mall residency, Goregaon w This person is from A wing flat 602. kindly share with ppl who can take action. I am bleeding from my head.”

On the professional front, Anuj was last seen in the OTT web series ‘Chhal Kapat.’ It also featured Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Tuhina Das, and Yahhve Sharma. His most recent television appearance was in 2024, where he played Maan Singh in ‘Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare.’
