Aman Sharma: I try to spend more time taking care of my daughter and celebrating our relationship
Actor Aman Sharma, who recently played the antagonist Virendra Pratap Singh in Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, has wrapped up the show and is now spending quality time with his two-year-old daughter, Namah.
“My journey as Virendra Pratap Singh has come to an end,” Sharma shared. “Our last episode telecast was on August 3, and we wrapped up shoots on July 24. I will always cherish the memories and the relationships I made while filming on set. It was a creatively satisfying role, and the team had become like family.”
Prior to this, Sharma was part of Suman Indori, and transitioned to Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri soon after. “I was previously shooting for Suman Indori, and after that show went off air, I was brought in for this one—both were produced by the same production house. I feel fortunate to have had back-to-back opportunities.”
Now, with a short breather in his schedule, Sharma is making the most of family time. “With some free time in hand, I try to spend more of it taking care of my daughter and celebrating our relationship. She’s the centre of my world right now. I see her as a blessing from Mahadev, and that’s why I named her Namah. She’s brought a new kind of peace and purpose to my life.”
As Raksha Bandhan approaches, Sharma is looking forward to celebrating the festival in a special way. “With my daughter coming into our lives, we started celebrating Raksha Bandhan. This year, I’m really looking forward to her tying a Rakhi on my wrist—it’s symbolic, emotional, and very personal for me.”
Despite enjoying the break, Sharma isn’t stepping away from his craft for too long. “I’m open to taking up a new show where I get to play a promising and substantial role,” he said. “In the meantime, I’m working on myself—on my art, my physical fitness, and my overall growth."
