As per the latest reports, the scenic Caribbean island is offering year-long visas to remote workers under its new program, i.e., the Montserrat Remote Workers Stamp. Reportedly, the new program has been designed to attract visitors to Montserrat, and facilitate them to strike a more ideal work/life balance in the said process.
Referring to this, Deputy Premier of Montserrat, Dr Samuel Joseph, stated there are people currently in metropolitan areas, as well as various parts of the world, who now have the ability to work from home, as such this remote worker programme is basically to facilitate them to visit Montserrat and continue with their professional work from there.
