The Thailand Government, in order to promote domestic tourism, is collaborating with the popular dating app Tinder, to launch a travel campaign for singles. This move comes in wake of tourism industry suffering loss of foreign arrivals due to the COVID pandemic. Read less
Thailand tourism industry gradually started picking up pace after it rolled out the 60- and 90-day visas for international travellers. And to keep the momentum going, and save the industry from failing amid the pandemic, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which is the official tourism body of Thailand, has now partnered with Tinder to offer travel packages to singles.
As per the reports, the Single Journeys campaign consist of nine major tourism routes— Chang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Udon Thani-Loie, Phuket, Lop Buri-Saraburi, Chumphon-Surat Thani, Ayutthaya, and Pattaya.
