In its post, it stated, CSMIA is already witnessing a surge in passenger volume with the onset of the festive season, and the numbers are expected to further rise in the coming weeks. The airport further stated that passengers travelling internationally are advised to reach the airport at least 3.5 hours prior to their scheduled flight, while those taking domestic flights are advised to reach the designated terminal at least 2.5 hours in advance.
If reports are to go by, the airport issued the advisory to ensure travellers had adequate time to complete all pre-flight formalities.
