Travellers at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSIMA) will now be able to avail the Coronavirus testing report within 13 minutes. The cost of this test is INR 4500. The CSIMA recently announced that it has launched the new COVID testing facility, which will also remain available for 24 hours. Read less
Since the launch of the RT-PCR Covid-19 testing facilities, CSIMA has witnessed an average of 30-35 tests per day. The test is available for all international arrivals as well as to domestic passengers arriving and departing from the airport.
As per the latest reports, a total of 400 express tests have already been carried out till December 28 at the airport, which also includes passengers who had connecting flights to destinations outside Maharashtra.
As per the guidelines set by the CSIMA, those testing negative will be allowed to continue their journey, whereas those testing positive will be sent to institutional quarantine in Mumbai.
