It has been predicted keeping in mind a western disturbance that is also expected to trigger snowfall in parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Fog is also expected to accompany snowfall as per the predictions.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in most of Himachal Pradesh as Keylong stayed as the coldest place in the state. The Met office has predicted rainfall as well snow in the middle and higher reaches of the state.
The weather prediction is expected to boost tourism in Kashmir, which has been flailing for almost eight months now, owing to the COVID outbreak. In fact, Srinagar airport recorded a surge in the number of arrivals in November after a rather bleak year.
