Queen Elizabeth is selling gin as revenue from tourism dips in the wake of COVID-19

In what comes as interesting news is that Queen Elizabeth II is selling gin that has been prepared from leaves, handpicked from the backyard of Buckingham Palace, as revenue from tourists visiting her residences has crashed due to COVID-19 pandemic. This means that we can now taste the exclusive gin that the Queen likes to drink.
This move comes after it was reported that revenues from tourism dipped during the ongoing crisis, causing $ 22 million hole in the finances. Reportedly, the Queen, 94, has personally contributed to the preparation of this exclusive drink, which is now available online, i.e., on the Buckingham Palace Website, for INR 3783. In fact, the Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household, launched this premium small-batch London dry gin for sale, infused with bay and mulberry leaves found in her back garden.
The special gin has been made from herbs and citrus that were handpicked from the Queen’s garden, including lemon and a bunch of fancy royal plants. If you go by the description on the website, it describes it as the ideal summer thirst quencher and reiterates that the perfect way to have it is to pour a measure of the gin in an ice-filled tumbler before garnishing it with a slice of lemon or topping up with tonic.
