As per the latest news reports, during this period, the work of repairing the runway will be done. Also, aviation companies have altered the time of their night flights, in line with the airport operation time, which will be from 6 am to 9:30 pm.
If reports are to go by, the layer of turning pads of the airport runway has been uprooted, from where the plane runs with full force to fly on the runway. If all goes as planned, work on repairing will be completed by July. For this, the DGCA has also instructed the airport administration to complete the said work in due time.
Revealing more on this, airport officials elaborated that when an aircraft goes up, its engine draws air very fast, which causes the rods of uprooted pads to go into the engine with air, which might damage the engine after takeoff. In such a situation, the aircraft can also catch fire, and a big accident cannot be ignored.
After the repair work starts, no emergency landing will also take place here there will be no emergency landing here. The airline officials added that even the diverted aircraft that come here will not be able to land for any reason.
Reports suggest that take off and landing at night at the airport will affect 17 flights, which will also include international flights.
