What could easily be described as the most beautiful street in the world, the two kilometer long Avenue Des Champs Elysees is a sheer delight. Lined with the finest restaurants, clubs, and luxury shopping labels with the Arc De Triomphe as its glorious crown, Champs Elysees is as iconic as a place could get. The holiday season only amplifies the allure of this Parisian marvel. As Christmas comes knocking on the door, more than a hundred chalets dot the street right up to its far end, the Place De La Concorde. These tiny huts are home to regional produce such as champagne, cheese, meats, confectionaries and mulled wine among other bewitching treats. Moreover, traditional shimmering lights and sparkles are used to illuminate the entire boulevard and strolling down the same is a lot like stepping to a utopian fantasy world of sorts.
If you wish for a temporary escape from the real world, Christmas markets in Europe are your best bet. And the finest of them all is the one at Champs Elysees. The sight is remarkable and you will never ever want to go back home!
