This temple is famous for is monumental idol of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god. It was built in 1875 by an Ujjain resident called Shri Dadhich. The idol, which measures 25 feet from crown to foot, is considered to be the largest Ganesh sculpture in the world.
