Kanch Mandir

This Jain temple is an architectural marvel simply because it’s entirely made of glass. It was built by the Jain industrialist Seth Hukumchand in the early 20th century. Its walls, ceiling, floor, pillars, doors and murals are all made with glass, with cut-glass chandeliers on the roof. A special glass chamber creates a visual illusion by multiplying the three statues of Mahavira into an indefinite number of images.
