Calgary is the city in Canada that receives the sunniest of days, and more often than not summer time is when these sunny days happen. Sunny days call for getting outside and there is nothing better than sipping drinks and eating some delicious food on some of the best patios in the city. Most of the locals and many visitors agree on one thing, Calgary boasts some of the most unique and awesome patios in Canada. Stop by Bonterra Trattoria for some excellent Italian food on their lush patio, featuring twinkling overhead lights, bistro style tables, and beautiful flowers. If you like watching people then head to Catch, located on Stephen Avenue, where you can indulge in some delicious oysters while you watch people stroll by. For something a little more intimate, head to Cilantro’s patio, where you may have to wait to get a seat as it is extremely popular. Located on 17th Avenue, the naturally green walls, the white lights wrapped around the trees, and the excellent wine list makes this a popular place. If you want something really different though, head to Rouge, as this place feels more like a backyard than a restaurant patio with a covered tent and brick floor featuring vegetable gardens, and vast flowering gardens around it.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
