The government is working on a cruise route from Mumbai to Bali in Indonesia. Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister, said that to promote cruise tourism, the government is working on the said cruise route that will be made viable via Kochi, and Andaman and Nicobar islands. The minister mentioned that the motive behind this move is to promote cruise tourism in the country. As per available records, a lot of Indian tourists visit Singapore to enjoy cruise holidays. With the implementation of this process, it is expected that it will turn into a big tourist attraction.
