Sakıp Sabancı Museum

Best known for their phenomenal and extensive Arabic calligraphy collection, which includes both artwork and important documents from the past and present, Sakıp Sabancı Museum contains much more than just calligraphy.
Also on permanent display is an extensive collection of early modern art that focuses primarily on local artists, but also includes works from several foreign artists during the late Ottoman Empire. There are also several rooms full of furniture and decorations from the 18th and 19th century, when the estate was being used as a royal residence. And as with all good museums, there are always a few temporary exhibits on display as well. These vary from master sculptors to some of the greatest artists of all times, such as Picasso and Dali.
