Learn ceramics at La Meridiana, Certaldo

Surrounded by Tuscany’s celebrated hill scenery, the medieval walled town of Certaldo seems as though it has almost been designed with the visitor’s absorption of local culture and artistic tradition in mind. It has a wonderful, sun-baked piazza, evocative Romanesque architecture, its own hilltop gardens and museum of religious art and a wonderful old fresco-filled palazzo fronted by a distinctive coat of arms in glazed terracotta.
