Dubai airport recently introduced a kids-only lounge, which comes as a respite for parents. This lounge, exclusively built for kids travelling without their parents or any guardian, is built at Terminal 1 of the Dubai International Airport. The aim behind the construction of this lounge is to provide minors safe and secure and fun travel experience and making the airport space more kid-friendly.
The decision of building a kid-friendly lounge was taken after the Dubai National Air Transport Association, also known as dnata, observed a splurge in the number of kids travelling alone. In the year 2018, the team says that it helped around 80000 minors, who were all by themselves. The team also takes online orders for meals and also assists passengers.
“We are delighted to add more value to our offering and further enhance young passengers’ travel experience by opening our new lounge, which has been specifically designed to meet the needs and taste of children of all ages,” he mentioned in an online statement.
