What a time to be alive! It is that time of the year again when Jaipur City will get ready to welcome avid shoppers from India and abroad. Jaipur Shopping Festival has been scheduled for September 25 to October 23, 2019. And since festival culture in Jaipur is always bigger than ever, we can expect a grand shopping fiesta again this time!
The main objective behind Jaipur Shopping Festival is promoting Jaipur city as a tourist destination. Every year an array of locally made products ranging from wooden handicrafts, jewellery, furniture, and electrical appliances are put on display and sold under one roof to keen shoppers. The venue of the fest changes every year.
Celebrities in attendance
Another purpose served by JSF is that it makes Diwali shopping easy for the people when the best of apparel, art work, and a host of lifestyle goods are available at the same place. For tourists, this is a good place to experience the local culture of Rajasthan by sampling the myriad food items sold at the culinary counters at JSF.
The popular products
Visitors at Jaipur Shopping Festival can look forward to stalls selling gemstones and jewellery, Leheriya saree, bandhej, meenakari items, embroidered bed sheets, handcrafted bags, mojris (footwear), blue pottery, silver jewels, lac bangles, etc.
So, plan your budget well, and block your dates to attend this gala.
