This downtown festival takes place every year in the city of Winnipeg, running for five days through many different venues. The purpose of the festival is to showcase a variety of music, from upcoming artists in Manitoba to already famous artists from all over Canada. Over 50 artists play at 8 different venues throughout the 5 days and visitors only need one wristband to access all of them, or an alternative is to buy individual tickets to each show if you are only planning on attending one or two. In 2016 popular artists that attended this festival included Calvin Love, Mozart's Sister, Novillero and the Crooked Brothers. The purpose of this city is to draw out the locals on those cold winter days and nights to embrace local talent and sure enough, you will find people lining up in the minus degree weather for an early Sunday morning breakfast show. This indie music festival is not to be missed as it showcases some of the hottest upcoming talents in Canada.
