Dubai Frame, one of the newer iconic structures on the skyline of Delhi, has another feather in its cap. It won the Leisure Tourism Project Award at the MEED Projects Awards for the year. The structure has been hailed as the "the biggest picture frame on the planet" and stands as one of Dubai’s most visited tourist spots, standing tall in Zabeel Park. Read less
As per an official statement, “The award underscores the unique position it occupies among tourist and urban attractions around the world and its exceptional and attractive design that has caught the attention of a large number of visitors to Dubai.”
It stands 150 m tall, is quite a sight, and won over the other entries from the UAE. It has also been hailed as one of the more prominent cultural and entertainment attractions in the region.
It aims to showcase different facets of Dubai by giving a literal view of attractions that include the Emirates Tower, Burj Khalifa, Deira and Old Dubai as well. It also comprises of a sky deck, from where you can pore over the region with unparalleled 360-degree views. The first floor of Dubai Frame that will let you peek in the future, some 50 years ahead, through special audio and visual effects.
