This is another great place to take kids, especially if they are interested in learning about sports and athletes. The museum is well designed to keep everyone engaged at all times, no matter how old or young you are. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to go through each exhibit and don’t miss the short video that can bring you to tears! Not only will you get the chance to learn about sports but also about the incredible Canadian history. Some of the favourite exhibits include the simulated rowing experience, auto race and shadow boxing with heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. Throw, kick, punt, dribble or dunk your way through Bounce Gallery. You can choose to be a goalie, ski jumper or even a sports announcer. You get to see incredible artefacts such as championship winning jerseys, horseshoes, a full-scale model of the Bluenose sailing ship and even Terry Fox’s shoes.
