Park After Dark at Northlands

It’s a great night of cheap, if not free entertainment that takes place at the Northlands Racetrack and Casino. During summers, they host a patio party every Friday night, which starts at 6:30 pm, complete with food trucks, entertainment and horse races. This event is completely family friendly, although you have to be of legal betting age if you want to bet on any of the races. There are plenty of picnic tables spread out along the patio for seating. Make sure to visit the food trucks that show up as Edmonton has some of the best and most delicious offerings when it comes to food trucks. There is always a DJ here on Friday nights, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes as people will be getting down! Kids will love getting up close to the race track and cheering their favorite horses while parents can place bets or nip into the casino and do a bit of gambling. The night is only as expensive as you can make it out to be and enjoy with or without the kids at Park After Dark at Northlands Racetrack and Casino.
