If you have ever wanted to know about using a lightsaber, you’re in luck in the city of Edmonton, and it will not cost you a dime to learn. Weekly lightsaber training classes are held every Wednesday night in Churchill Square and this is not a kids only event by any means. Kids are invited to participate in these classes from 7 pm – 7:45 pm and then only adults are allowed until 8:30 pm. The program is run by the Edmonton Arts Council and is meant to encourage families and people to get out of the house and try something new. Lightsabers are provided by qualified instructors. Many people dress up for the event and these lessons normally draw anywhere from 40–70 people each week. Learn the lingo, the moves and have some fun in your Jedi training in the city of Edmonton.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
