Everything about this speakeasy bar—décor, drinks and music—is inspired by the 1920s prohibition era in the USA when an alcohol ban gave rise to underground bars which served liquor illegally. To create an authentic feel, there are prohibition-era posters all around its warehouse-like interiors and classic cocktails are mixed and served in jam jars. This vintage vibe is enhanced by regular jazz and blues performances by local acts and visiting foreign performers. These are held in a small basement stage that’s almost always encircled by throngs of enthusiasts.
