The Fonclea is another historical option, that is centered around its live music offering, but also in this case you will still find a cocktail bar and a restaurant, offering moderately priced dishes.Active since 30 years, it was one of the first venues where local artists and talent could perform in front of an audience in Rome and create a network of like minded people.
Going to Fonclea it’s a little bit like going somebody’s home, because of its collection of object hanging on the walls, each one with his own story and the somehow messy arrangement.
During concerts you’ll find different generations of clients one next to the other singing along and enjoying what this club has to offer.
In close proximity to Saint Peter Cathedral, Hadrian Mausoleum and Ottaviano metro station, the Fonclea is quite conveniently located in the district of “Prati”.
