Venice is home to world’s oldest casino, and while this 17th century casino might not be the most impressive casino you have ever seen, it is an interesting alternative evening’s entertainment.
You can choose whether you wish to test your luck on gaming tables or slot machines or if you are not much of a gambler you can still pay a visit to this appealing 17th century structure on a walking tour and learn about the days Wagner spent here while composing Ring cycle. The famous composer even died at this very place.

The casino provides a free shuttle from the Piazzale Roma if you don’t feel like walking there. A 10 EUR admission fee applies to visit the Casino, but this amount is compensated with playing tokens of equal value. Be aware there is a strict dress code that requires men to wear jackets (but these can be rented for free).
