Stockholm's Kulturhuset, or Culture House, always has a packed calendar of events that includes films, debates, theatre, photo exhibitions, dance and art. The building, completed in 1974, has sparked some controversy; its detractors think it is a massive eyesore and dislike the modernism it represents in Stockholm.
Despite the controversy, more than three million people visited Kulturhuset last year, and that’s no surprise once you pop in; it is a hub of activity with friends, couples and families packing all floors.
