Royalton Hicacos Varadero Resort and Spa’s focus on rejuvenating the body and mind sets this adults-only resort apart from others, as well as being incredibly luxurious with a slew of amenities and activities. Although there is a total of 404 rooms, the resort itself isn’t as large as one would think, making it easy to get from one place to another. All the rooms are suites here, with junior suites offering a separate bedroom and a living room complete with a stocked minibar, full size terraces and full bath. If guests really want to splurge, try booking into on the Royal Suites which offer Jacuzzi tubs, bar area in room and late check-out.There is no shortage of pools at this resort with a total of three, the main pool being the favourite with bridges, waterfalls and a swim-up bar. You can even soak away your troubles in one of four hot tubs or the incredible spa. Unlimited dining awaits guests here at one of five restaurants, one buffet and four a la carte, along with six bars to grab a drink or two at. A 24-hour lobby bar, piano bar and cigar bar all await you here. There are endless ways to pass the time at this resort including daily entertainment, salsa lessons, tennis, windsurfing, pedal boats, scuba diving lessons and snorkelling—all available to every guest for free. With warm smiles, the friendliest of staff and luxury, it’s no wonder why this is one of the best resorts in all of Varadero.
