Gajah Biru Bungalows and Spa

Gajah Biru Bungalows is one of the best value for money boutique hotels in Bali. It is located in the young painter’s village of Penestanan and at only five minutes by car to the famous art community of Ubud. Driving to Ubud Monkey Forest (one of Bali’s top tourist attractions) takes only 15 minutes. The hotel has a fabulous swimming pool and a lovely garden, both fantastic places to relax. There is an on-site restaurant that serves delicious local staples and international food as well. Rooms are all large and comfortable, beautifully decorated and with all the modern amenities. They all have either a terrace or a balcony. The lovely staff at reception is always available to provide advice and arrange tours; they also facilitate reservations for onward travels and/or transportation to the airport. There is an in-house spa and a wellness centre. Highly recommended.
