One of the highlights of Dasaprakash is that it is one of the few places in Ahmedabad that give a complete South Indian Thali meal and not just the popular snacks. The decor too is unique: coconut-shaped door knobs, Tanjore-style paintings and Kathakali murals and masks welcome you to the restaurant. Where food is concerned, try their specialities like Tomato Rasam, Guliappa Rice Balls, a variety of Rawa or Rice Dosas and upmas. Also check out their authentic South Indian Thalis and mini-meal combos. Skip the North Indian dishes on their menu; you won't miss much. The prices are a bit higher than you would pay at other South Indian restaurants but it’s definitely worth it: you get to sample different dishes from the southern states that are not usually available in Ahmedabad. You must try their South Indian sweets and filter coffee as well.
