A part of the upscale Dynasty hotel, located quite centrally in Guwahati, The Tandoor is a fine dining experience for visitors craving for some good quality north Indian food. The abundance of local food in the city might just tickle you to try something different and this is where you should look for this place. The look and feel of the hotel will give you a royal experience with walls decorated with beautiful artwork depicting the days of the maharajas and their subjects. The seating arrangements are very aesthetically done and the sofas are ducked up with comfortable cushions and back – rest.As was mentioned at the outset, this restaurant offers high quality north Indian delicacies apart from the standard Assamese cuisines. The 17 – page long menu is a mere testimony to its wide range of food items, starters and deserts. You will find almost every typical north Indian dish here that is not likely to be found under one roof anywhere else in the city. For Assamese dishes, one can try the Fish Tenga or Sarson fish. Place your order, sit back in leisure and wait for the food to be served by waiters in Mughal uniforms while enjoying the gentle Indian music playing in the background.
