The iconic Letna Beer Garden is unobtrusively hidden in the heart of the beautiful Letna Park that runs along the banks of the Vltava River. This particular beer garden is reminiscent of those in Germany except for the fact that Letna offers you fantastic views of the city of Prague. With magnificently tall birches, autumnal maples and the dewy grass, it is the perfect place for a nice picnic with the family. And in case you are a sports enthusiast, you’re probably in heaven considering the bike paths and the roller-skating opportunities. The beer available at Letna is basic yet excellent and so is the food. The local ‘Gambrinus’ lager is a staple in this garden and can be bought from one of the many kiosks. Everything here comes cheap but the memories that you take back are priceless.Visit this watering hole on a warm summer day, grab a picnic table for yourself, forget about all your troubles and sip on Prague’s favourite beverage to your heart’s content. Sausages and pizza slices will keep you company. So will the chirping birds and the squirrels. Forget about rooms with a view, beers with a view are a lot better!
