Hotel Clarks Amer seems to be on an image make-over spree. The hotel has been around for several years but keeps re-inventing itself almost every other year. Dhola Maru, located on the top floor, has great food and beautiful views of the city through its south-facing glass windows. The restaurant has retained its 70s look and feel and the décor is bound to make you feel nostalgic, coloured glass windows, chandeliers, wood jaalis and painted ceilings, but that's just one side of the story, the other side has kept pace with the changing times; the quality of food and the range is excellent. Dhola Maru does very good Indian food and their laal maas, paneer kofta and daal are good. They also have live music performances and it's a comfortable and warm place with good service and ideal for family dinners.
