Regional delicacies and a racetrack view
Popular plate: The lamb tagine is a perennial favourite. Tender morsels fall apart shamelessly in a rich, prune-kissed gravy.

Atayeb’s prices run a bit steep for a Mid-East-based Arabic restaurant—after all, the capital is full of street-side shawarmas costing a mere fistful of coins. The quality of the fare, however, is top notch, and more varied than what you’ll find throughout the city.
The menu is a best-hits list of the region’s food, offering up Moroccan tagines, Emirati stews, Syrian kebabs and Lebanese mezze—all with equal aplomb. For many, though, the real draw is the location. Skip dining indoors and head to the terrace, which has stunning views overlooking the F1 racetrack. Be warned, it’s usually crammed, especially during the Grand Prix.
