Those who love Asian cuisine will probably have a new favourite in the city after they visit China 1. Mumbai has several fine dining Asian options housed, invariably, in one of the 5-star hotels in the city. While their obsession with authenticity is evident in what they dish out, the price range for an evening out at one of them would burn a giant hole in your pocket. China 1 delivers the same for a slightly more affordable price range. Whether you opt for the Vietnamese Basa or the prawn dimsum, it will manage to impress you and leave you coming back for more. The ambience can easily be called elegant and the restaurant has an open-air seating option as well. Their biggest hit has been their Sunday brunch buffet that packs in 6 vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters and mains each, 2 soups and rice options and a complimentary drinks and wide range of desserts. This huge meal could set you back by Rs 762 which is the cost for a person. Do note that the Sunday buffet also offers a consideration for Jains by preparing a custom-made platter of rice, noodles and gravy using only suitable ingredients.
