The lake is considered holy and there is a small shrine on its banks. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the lake is a picturesque sight. In the summer months, there are a variety of flowers in bloom and many birds can be seen here. Now, the shops are in the village, a short distance away, but Yak rides are available near the lake.
