India’s Tourism Ministry is hosting a five-day festival at the Red Fort in Delhi in a bid to promote the cultural diversity of the country. The festival, Bharat Parv, started from January 26 and is scheduled to continue till January 31, 2020. The Ministry launched the festival to allow visitors an opportunity to witness the splendour of the Republic Day tableaux. Read less
This annual Bharat Parv has been organised with the motive to motivate Indians to visit different corners of the country and to inculcate the spirit of Dekho Apna Desh. This year, the central theme is Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat and Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi.
As per the Tourism Ministry, the idea behind this festival is to celebrate the spirit of India by showcasing and promoting its diversity in culture. Open for general public till January 31, you can take part in this festival between 12 PM and 10 PM. Visitors will need to carry their IDs to gain access to the event; there is no entry fee to it.
