The place is currently snow-covered and ready to welcome travellers with open arms. Fortunately, those who visited Manali over the weekend were thrilled to see the place covered with a white blanket of snow. Manali and its surrounding regions anyway make for popular weekend destinations, especially for Delhi dwellers, who visit here more often during the winters in order to enjoy the snow. Solang Valley in December turns into a paradise for travellers who like to enjoy the winter snow, and the adventure activities of the season.

The best way to reach the Solang Valley is to first reach Manali via the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation run Volvo bus, and then take a local cab to the place. The Solang Valley lies at a distance of 13 km from the Mall Road area of Manali.
