If you are planning for a trip during New Year and want to explore something new, sign up for the Muziris Backwater Paddle, which will be held in Kerala on January 4 and 5 on 2020. This two-day kayaking expedition will provide you the chance to explore the backwaters of Kerala like never before. The expedition will be flagged off from Kotturpuram Jetty in Kodungallor district and culminate at Bolgatty Island in Kochi. Read less
Paddlers will be covering an overall distance of 40 km traversing through the backwaters and prominent Muziris Heritage destinations en route. As per the latest reports, each day the paddlers will cover an easy distance of around 20 km, and take several fun breaks for sightseeing and to meet the locals.
The paddling event will also promote how to use our rivers for recreational usage and also create a connection to the river with tourists and youngsters.
