This densely forested park in Delhi can be easily accessed from Greater Kailash II, Tughlakabad Extension, Batra Gate, Dhobi Ghat, Sheikh Sarai, Chirag Delhi, Masjid Moth DDA Flats and Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan School. The most beloved thing about Jahanpanah City Forest is that it is a thriving ecosystem. The forest is very diverse and is an excellent spot for nature enthusiasts. The park features over 100 species of birds, including peacocks, kingfishers, and parakeets, and they are not the only denizens here. Animals like jackals, wild boar, nilgai, squirrels and mongooses, also call this city forest their home.

The forest is home to a wide range of trees, including neem, mango, jamun, and banyan. Walking through the forest feels like stepping into a different world. On one side of this world, you have the forever busy city with its blaring horn, glaring lights and a permanent layer of smog and dust. On the other side you have trees, birds and tranquility.
