Snowfall makes Manali and Solang the most desired destinations among tourists

Winters are usually the time when there are too many destinations that you want to go to. But if you are living in Delhi, and you are wondering where to go to, we would suggest that you rush to Solang Valley, a place few kilometres uphill from Manali, famous for its adventure sports and skiing. The place is currently snow-covered and ready to welcome travellers with open arms. In fact, after fresh spells of snowfall in Manali in the last few days, Solang is covered under a thick layer of snow, and tourists are already flocking to the place in huge numbers.

Manali and its surrounding regions anyway make for popular weekend destinations, especially for Delhi dwellers, who visit here more often during the winters in order to enjoy the snow. Solang Valley in December turns into a paradise for travellers who like to enjoy the winter snow, and the adventure activities of the season.

After the snowfall, Sunday greeted tourists with clear skies, and a bright and sunny day. When done exploring the attractions of Manali, the tourists headed to the Solang Valley in order to enjoy paragliding and snow activities offered at the place. In fact, tourists were seen taking advantage of the snow, and getting creative by making snow structures. Tourists were also seen taking candid photographs while playing in the snow.

The best way to reach the Solang Valley is to first reach Manali via the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation run Volvo bus, and then take a local cab to the place. The Solang Valley lies at a distance of 13 km from the Mall Road area of Manali.
