Sri Lanka Tourism Ministry has recently launched new packages to woo indian tourists. A total of five new packages have been released by Sri Lanka Tourism for Indian tourists travelling to Sri Lanka, which aims to boost tourism that has seen a rapid decline since the Easter Sunday attacks this year. Sri Lanka Tourism Ministry has recently launched new packages to woo indian tourists. A total of five new packages have been released by Sri Lanka Tourism for Indian tourists travelling to Sri Lanka, which aims to boost tourism that has seen a rapid decline since the Easter Sunday attacks this year. According to sources, the number of Indian tourists dropped to 9300 after the attacks, from 2.3 million in 2018.
The tour packages are being extended to 12 Indian cities with 123 flights every week, and you can get a combination of the best of Sri Lanka, such as Colombo, Knady, Nuwara, Eliya, Sigiriya, and the South Coast. You can pick your favourite option from the range of budgets listed, and the offer is only valid from June 10 to September 30, 2019.
Sri Lanka Tourism is also doing promotion in Delhi and Mumbai to attract potential travellers.
