Brahma Temple, Cheench

If you thought that Pushkar in Rajasthan is the only place where Lord Bramha’s temple is situated in India, know that there exists a 12th century old Brahma Temple where a life-sized black stone idol of the deity is worshipped by the local devotees.
Located in Cheench or Chhinch, a small town situated about 15-20 km from Banswara city, the Brahma temple also has a small pond where lotus flowers grow and thrive.

This is a significant site for the local who often visit the Brahma shrine. It is accessible by tempo, bus or taxi from Banswara. Considering the fact that it has several temples dedicated to different Hindu deities, it is clear that Cheench is a religious place.
