He further stated that during the Prayag Kumbha Mela in 2013, around 47,000 people visited Allahabad Museum, which has led to the expectation that the upcoming Kumbha Mela would attract more than a lakh people to the museum. He also informed that the Allahabad Museum will undergo renovation and modernise its Central Hall and Gallery 4, which houses textiles, decorative arts and modern paintings. Seminars will also be organised in the pandal of the museum during the Kumbha Mela, wherein visitors can also participate.
Allahabad Museum is gearing up to host the visitors in the best possible way, and it is highly expected that the Prayag Kumbha Mela will give visitors an opportunity to explore the museum as well during the same time.
