​ Phang Nga Bay

Resting between the island of Phuket and mainland of Malay Peninsula of southern Thailand, Phang Nga Bay is one of the most prominent tourist attractions of the region. Naturally carved limestone karsts jutting out of green waters, interesting archaeological sites and collapsed cave systems are few of the distinctive features of Phang Nga Bay. Enjoy a day cruise around these limestone islands and stop at nearby places to behold the spectacular scenery around. Do plan a visit to the James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan), which was one of the shooting locations of popular Bond movie—The Man with the Golden Gun. A huge portion of this island is known as Ao Phang Nga National Park, which was created by royal decree. It protects a mangrove forest, one of the few remaining ones in Thailand.
