Considered by many to be a spiritual theme park, the Akshardham Temple is the largest Hindu temple in the world. Built by volunteers and a team of 7,000 artisans, and completed in 2005, there is no denying its impressive size or its increasing popularity - it is believed that since opening, the temple has attracted 70 per cent of all visitors to Delhi. Considered by many to be a spiritual theme park, the Akshardham Temple is the largest Hindu temple in the world. Built by volunteers and a team of 7,000 artisans, and completed in 2005, there is no denying its impressive size or its increasing popularity - it is believed that since opening, the temple has attracted 70 per cent of all visitors to Delhi.
To reach the temple take the blue line on the metro, line 3, all the way to Akshardham.
