Last year, the owner of Legoland Merlin Entertainments had already submitted its plans with state and local officials for adding nearly 4.5 acres to its resort in central Florida. The concept submitted by the company featured designs for the new park, minimum six rides or kids’ attractions and a restaurant.
The officials have announced that the upcoming theme park will boast of rides and interactive attractions which kids will definitely enjoy. There will be themed playscapes, live shows, and water rides as well. Peppa Pig fans and their families will also get an opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite Peppa and her friends.
Legoland in Florida has expanded many times since its opening in 2011. In 2015, the park launched its first onsite hotel. In 2017, the famous Legoland Beach Retreat was opened and last year, they introduced Pirate Island Hotel.
According to the officials, the park is slated to launch in 2022.
