Tarlochan Singh

Tarlochan Singh, a prominent leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, was tragically shot dead on the evening of September 9, 2024. He was the president of the AAP's Kisan Wing in Khanna, Ludhiana. The incident occurred as Singh, aged 60, was returning home from his farm in Ikolaha village when unidentified attackers opened fire on him. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival. Singh had been actively involved in local politics and was preparing for upcoming elections for the position of village sarpanch.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities exploring personal rivalries as a possible motive, although no clear reason has been confirmed yet. His son, Harpreet Singh, hinted at personal enmities playing a role in the murder, while the police are looking into all potential leads.
